Around St. Augustine

The first day we were in St. Augustine, we basically just flopped around town for awhile.

The next morning we went on a tour around St. Augustine and went to the fort.

And I have a story for you. There was this couple sitting on the wall of the fort. They looked pretty cute and I asked for a photo, and they gave me a nod of approval. But as I’m taking the photos, they start kissing! So I’m like gross! And I walked away. . .

Yes, they were pigeons, but there were two of them!

Also, I previously posted the First Sunrise at the Beach so if you want to check that out, that’s the link. And I’ll see you next time!

  1. I love St. Augustine–I lived in Jacksonville for 30 years, so went to St. Augustine very often. The lighthouse and the park surrounding it is gorgeous. The cemeteries are full of exciting stories, also. There’s so much to see and do in the quaint little town away from St. George Street and the touristy sections. I hope you had the opportunity to explore off the beaten path. Your photos are beautiful. Dawn

  2. I really love Florida! I just came back from Destin and the waters are some sort of paradise! I can’t wait to go back. I went to the lighthouse there in St. Augustine, I actually think that was the very first lighthouse I’ve been to and I’ve been addicted ever since!
