Thunder

Thunder.

Deep and rolling across the land and seas.

Thunder.

Bringing rain in life-fulls.

I hear your roars and feel your anger.

Thunder.

You comfort me in the dark of my bedroom.

You tell me of your power and rage.

I’m not alone in my pain.

Thunder.

You sweep over homes like vikings battling demons.

Thunder.

Your voice speaks within me, and into my soul.

You bring healing powers and ignite flames within my mind.

Thunder.

You are an old roaming soul, chasing lighting, your equal storm maker lover.

Sharing tears and laughter with each other.

Thunder rolled over my house one night, and hearing it I wrote this poem to the voices of thunder, lightning, and rain.
