Tips For Feeling Jolly This Winter | 2nd Day Of Blogmas

Some of my favorite things happen only in winter. If you’re feeling depressed with the cold and pat-time gloom of winter, here are some of my tips and tricks to spruce up the Christmas season.

1 – gingerbread cookie chaos

Every year my family goes overboard and makes about 100+ gingerbread cookies alone, and among all the others (which are many), we never run out of cookies. Find a good recipe and make tons. Go crazy everyone! Also, a nice tin of cookies as a gift goes a long way.

2 – music playlists

I started listening to Christmas music in the first week of November okay, I’ve had too much time to pick out my favorites, but here are some of my favorite artists:

  1. Pentatonix
  2. Casting Crowns
  3. Michael Bublé
  4. Frank Sinatra
  5. Nick Pitera
  6. Newsboys
  7. Charlotte Church
  8. Josh Groban

3 – community & family

I have to say, Christmas is all about family, but I can’t speak for everyone. I love being with my family during the winter. Snuggle up on the couch, get your coco ready with extra marshmallows and hunker down for a movie.

Thanks for reading everyone, what are some things you do/have to cheer up this holiday season?
