I’ve been reading so many posts lately on WordPress, and I’ve been noticing that things are subtly changing.
Not that it has never changed before, or that I’ve ever noticed, but things with posting/viewing/comment settings are changing.
So, if you are feeling kind of lost right now, with your writing or with yourself, this might be the post for you. I’m talking about hopefully helping you to discover yourself, and your identity as a blogger.
Your voice is stronger then you think
As a writer, you may not think you have a very strong voice, but you do, and every time you write you are speaking to someone. Maybe not directly, or maybe you wrote the post simply for one person.
But it is extremely important to know that your words make you strong as a writer, and for a lot of people their writing gives them a reason to wake up in the morning.
And it’s no secret that words can either bring someone up or tear them down, but it’s up to you to decide which where you were going to go with your writing.
Confidence over narcissism any day
Everyone needs confidence to succeed. But it’s no secret that too much confidence or narcissism can destroy a person. Be proud of yourself, and recognize where your passions come from.
–In fact! Comment below with where your passion comes from!–
But don’t let a good amount of confidence turn into narcissism, or even greed for attention and being “the best” blogger, writer, or creator. You don’t have to fall for it when someone says confidence is simply your ego or pride, you know it’s not!
You Are your own content
Alright this is my last point, and I think it’s super important that bloggers realized this. You don’t have to have a specific blogging niche to be successful as a blogger.
I’m not trying to bash someone who sticks to something specific -in fact, I applaud you for your dedication!-, but for the others who don’t. . .
It’s you, you are your own content, and as a blogger, the only thing you have to do is open your mind and write. People don’t care about reading a million of the same posts. They care about you, and your work.
