I know it’s only Thursday, but let’s all get ready for the weekends, because my favorite time of the week is Saturday morning! This is what a normal Saturday morning looks like for me, I hope you enjoy reading through my day!
9:00-9:20 am – Wake up, and check my blog page, social media, and emails. I have to set a morning alarm for myself or I’ll never get out of bed. Sometimes I wake up at 9:00 and have to set another alarm for 9:30, that way I have half an hour to fully wake up or fall asleep again.
9:30 am – Leave my blanket cocoon in bed, put on a big sweater and go downstairs. Make a cup of tea or coffee and eat breakfast. Saturday mornings at 9:30 The Great British Baking Show is on TV, so I like to watch that while I’m eating breakfast. On weekdays I try to use this time to read through blog posts, listen to uplifting music, and make a list of everything I need to work on that day.
10:30 am – Turn off the TV and put my dishes in the sink. Go back upstairs and take a shower and get dressed for the day. Also gather up laundry and check the bathroom trash bin.
11:00 am – Drink two glasses of water and start on schoolwork, writing poetry and blog posts, and think about lunch. I try to read at least half a chapter of my school book I’m working from, and spend the rest of the time making lists of blog posts and writing poetry inspired by my background music.
12:00 pm – I’m hungry, let’s see what’s in the fridge for lunch, or make something quick. If my brothers eat lunch before me, there will be nothing left in the fridge so I’ll have to make something. Today me and my sister handmade pasta and fried ham for lunch. Super easy and fun to do with someone else.
